Iraqi AML/CFT office in a workshop on Financial Intelligence in Beirut

The Iraqi AML/CFT office has participated in a workshop on Methods and practices used in Financial Intelligence Analysis from (6-11 August 2018) In Beirut – Lebanon , and it was Sponsored by United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in cooperation with Lebanese Special Investigation Commission and Egyptian Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Combating Unit, to complement this successful partnership under the framework of the “Strengthening the Response of the Criminal Justice System to the Threats of Terrorism in Iraq” this workshop was funded by Japanese Government. Many topics concerning developing the AML/CFT functions and exchange experiences with counterpart Units were discussed in this workshop.
